Winter Storm Update: Boil Water Notice Lifted 2/21/2021 3:13pm CST

Effective immediately, Houston’s Main Water System has lifted its boil water notice. Check with your MUD or provider to see if you are still impacted. Flush your water system by running cold-water faucets for at least one minute, make and discard several batches of ice, and run water softeners through a regeneration cycle.

Winter Storm Update: 2/19/21 8:24 am CST

Dear Residents,

Last night at approximately 10pm, the fire department responded to an isolated incident involving a fire on the 5th floor of the community. The fire was extinguished and the fire department cleared the building for reentry. The sprinkler system was triggered and has resulted in water intrusion from the 5th floor to the 1st floor. We are cooperating with the fire department as they investigate the cause of the fire.

Our team will be onsite at 9am to assist any residents who have been impacted. The power has not yet been restored to the Leasing Office. Please visit the office if you need assistance as the phone system and internet not working.

Winter Storm Update: Utilities - 2/17/2021

Dear Residents,

As you know, our area has seen unprecedented severe winter weather and as the temperature starts to rise above 32 degrees over the next several days we anticipate new issues arising. Boil Water Notice has been issued for most of our area due to reduced distribution pressure. The city is notifying all residents to boil water prior to consumption. According to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria and all residents should follow these directions.

The Houston area has begun experiencing pipes breaking causing more damage to everyone who remains without power. While we are doing our best to handle the emergencies, we are also incurring limitations. We have limited ability to get supplies, plumbers and other contractors are working to help as many people and communities as possible but not necessarily available to respond immediately based on demand and weather conditions. Our employees are doing the best they can to take care of our community and residents but are also dealing with the same issues at their own homes in addition to travel difficulties when attempting to get to the community.

If you have a pipe break, please contact us immediately at 713-523-9378. We will do our absolute best to respond. CenterPoint/ERCOT is reporting large numbers of households remain without power and that if power is restored, it is likely that rolling power outages will continue. With continued power outages please be reminded in order to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning, generators, camp stoves, or charcoal grills should always be used outside and never use a gas stovetop or oven to heat your home.

We realize that everyone has full toilets, and while it’s not ideal, if you need to temporarily flush your toilets, you may collect water from our pool from the hours of 8-11am, as needed. We’d love to offer to bring water to you, however, our team members are working hard to handle the emergencies caused by this weather event. Please join us in helping others by checking on your neighbors. We are all in this together and may be able to assist to those who need it.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as our team members work hard to restore our community. Even if our offices are closed, we have people working remotely and are still accessible by phone at 713-523-9378 or by email at [email protected]

Winter Storm Update: 2/18/21 6:27pm CST

Dear Residents,

Please be advised that our regularly scheduled trash removal service has been suspended temporarily due to weather conditions. This can cause trash build-up in our chutes and trash receptacles. In the interim, we have hired a third-party company to help alleviate some of the overflow. They will be onsite tomorrow. You may continue to experience some overflowing chutes and trash receptacles until we are able to have our regular service resume. We will inform you when regular trash service is restored.

We appreciate your understanding.
